About Dr. ANtonyan
Dr. Antonyan is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Board Certified Micrographic Dermatologic Surgeon (MOHS surgeon), who specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, and treats dermatologic conditions in patients of all ages. As a Board Certified Micrographic Dermatologic Surgeon (MOHS surgeon), Dr. Antonyan also specializes in the removal of specific types of high-risk and complex skin cancers that are best suited to treatment with micrographic surgery. He grew up in Southeast Michigan, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Detroit Mercy. He went on to graduate at the top of his medical school class with High Distinction and Comprehensive Honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Antonyan then served as Chief Resident of his Transitional Year Internship program at Wayne State University School of Medicine, and Chief Resident of his Dermatology Residency program at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Antonyan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the California Medical Association, and the Los Angeles County Medical Association.
